1) Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2) In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3) And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

5) Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?

1) Jesus said to his disciples, "Don't be worried! Have faith in God and have faith in me.
2) There are many rooms in my Father's house. I wouldn't tell you this, unless it was true. I am going there to prepare a place for each of you.
3) After I have done this, I will come back and take you with me. Then we will be together.

5) Thomas said, "Lord, we don't even know where you are going! How can we know the way?"

REVELATION 21:19-21
19) The foundations of the city wall were beautifully decorated with all kinds of gems: The first foundation was gray quartz, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald,
20) the fifth onyx, the sixth red quartz, the seventh yellow quartz, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth green quartz, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst.
21) The 12 gates were 12 pearls. Each gate was made of one pearl. The street of the city was made of pure gold, as clear as glass.
REVELATION 21:1-4

In the world's finale something so glorious is going to happen that it will atone for every single tear we've ever cried. God is going to give us the key that will make sense out of what now seems to be such senseless suffering. Heaven is going to be a place of no more disappointment, no more grief but joy. Heaven's joy.
